Because every girl loves  tea and cake.

The Flower Hall had the absolute pleasure of being involved in a fabulous photo shoot at the amazing award winning venue Ashfield House with some of the Northwest’s best suppliers in the wedding trade.

The photo shoot was inspired by 3 bridal boutiques who have connected and wanted to collaborate to show everyone that people in the same industry are your friends not your enemies. There are enough bride’s out there to be shared amongst us all so let’s help each other along – because its not just about business, its friendships and fun too!

The Bridal Barn Boutique is perfect for a vintage bride and signature styles, Stocking big brands like Charlotte Balbier. One of the best dresses Emma from TBBB has to offer in her collection is the floral dress in this shoot, not only are the colours and style incredible but ladies… it has pockets too!!!  The lady wearing the dresses is Laura who enjoyed getting pampered and wore the dresses so elegantly in the natural shoot.

Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Salon offers ultra modern, very non traditional dreamy wedding gowns. Jazmine is young, passionate and inspired from her own Las Vegas wedding and stocks some exclusive designer pieces. Her model Lily shows massive inspiration for the dresses and how they can be styled, and totally rocks the leather jack!

Beautiful Brides Liverpool is run by Marisa, she offers dresses size 16 plus in her chic boutique for curvy brides. Her bubbly personality will make you feel at ease as she uses her expertise to make you feel positive about your curves. She modelled her own collection of dresses in the shoot because why not! Seeing the face of the person who makes it all happen is what drives her body positive business.

The people that make all the magic happen and pamper you on your wedding day…
Faye McAuley makeup artist worked her make up magic to create a flawless natural bride in the shoot. She is professionally trained and passionate about her work. You often find her twirling her LED ring light taking photos of her models faces in perfection not to mention always being on hand with an extra dab of lip gloss here and there.

Hannah is the owner of Lady Muck Bride specialising in all aspects of wedding hair. In just a flash she has created the most beautiful hair style for the models, choosing styles to suit hair colours and the style of the dresses. She loves adding a hair accessory or some hair extensions and enjoys being a huge part in the preparation to your special day.

Our lovely flowers here at The Flower Hall helped add the little details and finishing touches and styled the vintage afternoon tea table..although the rabbit stole all the attention! The wedding bouquets went with all different styles of gowns… but worked perfectly with the floral dress!

The most delicious looking wedding cake and pretty cupcakes by Laura’s cakery certainly add stand out pieces to a wedding day. Matched perfectly with the colour scheme and decorated with our fresh flowers, wedding guests will be drooling over them! And we know this because everyone involved in the shoot asked do we get to eat them at the end…and we all did!! It was a lovely treat to finish a busy shoot!

Big Big balloons are what every photo shoot needs right?! Lucy lou’s balloons supplied us with the white and pink to match the table display and the black and white for Beautiful Brides Liverpool photos to match her black and white theme she has for her business.

Beautiful handmade head dresses by Rusty Rose…so trendy for the different bride wanting a statement piece and something nice to treasure after your special day.

The amazing Ryan James designs these unique luxury 100% silk scarf and pocket squares. Any of these colours would work well for a groom on our afternoon tea style wedding.

And the most important part of the shoot was down to the photographers…we wouldn’t have any of these amazing photos without you. Amy was so relaxed and easy to work with and listened and checked we were all happy as we were going along. She takes great shots without you even realising shes doing it and I really love her natural relaxed photo style.

Amy was joined by her friend photographer Nik. He made us laugh holding curtains to stop the sun shining in! Nik uses special effect colour smoke and is a little more quirky.. trying to catch the one off unique shots. He was enjoying playing with glass jars and taking picture through them… who knew this was a thing?!!

Separate photography businesses but great friends, Nik is photographing Amy’s wedding this year too! (Can’t wait to see pics) And back to how all this shoot started that businesses working in the same location with the same trade can get along…it’s better to have friends in the trade than enemies.
